picking up some cooked Turkey slices from the local butcher. Saves money and you're not left with an incredible hulk on Boxing Day. I just get enough for dinner and a sandwich the following day.

Alava... as you well know, a tradesman van is so full of old junk, that even a hurricane couldn't shift it. ;o)

Annie, thank you, but it remains only a fantasy. ;o)
I shall be happily at home with my cheese and smoked salmon.
I'll put a festive cone out and reserve you a parking spot.
M and S filled Beef filled Yorkshire for me just a few extra veg to cook. Ice cream chocolates for dessert, and lots of nice cheese and accompaniments.

Thanks one and all. I sincerely hope you have a good day tomorrow X
As I live in Spain, the xmas meal is always on xmas eve, which is tonight at 9! personally i think its too late to eat, especially the amount of food you´re expected to put away. In normal times i would usually to walk it off with a 75mins walk home, but due to curfews and god knows what, we´ll have to get a cab.
Sausage and beans on toast for me.
Pointless making a dinner for one person.

The Builder: That was a nice thing to say. If you were local you would be very welcome.
*Pasta wonders if she's going to be serving prawns through the rolled down window of a white van... ;)
Well...at least we needn't worry about dusting too much.
Pasta... I'll have you know the van is cherry red, and I'd go anywhere for seafood ;o)

Oh, and I bring my own dust.

Enjoy :o)
We've opted for beef this year, but when I was single would opt for a " meal in a bag" everything included. Our local co-op were doing similar this year for £10
We had beef on Christmas Day but bought a turkey and veggies for £10 for tomorrow. Can freeze what we don't eat tomorrow will make some sandwich fillings or a curry.
