to be fair, thats very harsh. paedophilia it certainly wasn't. i agree it was a bit strange, but each to there own. But to call it paedophilia is verging on the ridiculous
yer I dont agree with the being paedophiles, as they do things to young children for there own sexual kicks. This was just about them being over caring. It is wrong though but up to them.

i have two small children one of whom is 7 months and the thought of breastfeeding them up until 5 is unnatural

you could tell from the english couple that he just got a kick from the whole thing. they just seemed to get off on it and it made me feel sick to the pit of my stomach.

the amercians were no better actually meeting up in a park with fellow weirdos so they could sit on the grass while their children (2 of whom were 10 days old) to pardon my french s**t in a tupperware looking box! i mean this is so unatural. They say buggies Cots cribs bouncers are abnormal and are mini prisons but yet they find it normal to pull their childrens clothes off in public and outside their front door to let their kids go to the loo. i mean how do they know who is looking. they seriously have something lacking.

The the english couple dont want their children to attend school and why is that then so the kids can be constantly attached to (as them perverts put it) 'BOOBY'

they dont deserve children and they are nothing short of paedophiles
I have t laugh at your small mindedness. really do. I wouldn;t parent my children in the way that these people do, so in a way, i agree with your unnatural comment. But there was no hint of sexual gratification on the parents part or them getting off in it, as you put it.

There are parts of the world where this sort of thing isn;t uncommon at all, and at the end of the day, whats unnatural about feeding from a parent.

the part aboput them using the potty aoutside, again its just very unusual, but whats natural about doing it in a nappy???? its not like the babies were born with nappies on, or with bottles in their mouths for that matter.
I missed the programme but I saw a smilar one a while back thought it was all wrong not only about the breast feeding but that kind of over attachment cant be good for any childs development, I would like to see what these kids turn out like as adults I cant imagine it can have a good affect not going to school ect, and I would imagine it will be hard for the kids to make friends outside there own group as other kids will think its very odd that they are still being breastfed. As for the going to the toilet in public thats a new one on me its all a bit much.
maybe theres something wrong if you watch that and straight away think its sexual in any way. no-wher close to paedophilia
I didn't see this programme but have seen similar ones. I agree that I think it is unusual to be breastfeeding your children at that age, I certainly wouldn't do that to my own, however paedophiles is a bit strong. Offensive actually, and disrespectful to victims of paedophiles - not overbearing, weird parenting.
Babydust is the one with serious issues here. Narrow-minded and knee-jerk don't go anyhwhere near the ignorance and ractionaryism exhibited here. She's the one to be locked up.
i recorded this last night and am about to watch it. sounds as though it will make for interesting viewing
I agree with most of you that it is definately not paedophilia but I do think that the fact that the parents are not allowing their children to go to school and mix with other children their own age is cruel to the children.

Some of the practices may feel right at the time for the parents but I think that they may have a deeper psycological effect on the children as they grow up
Its a reflection on society today thjat someone would watch this and call these people peadoophiles. its a shame such a word is used so freely in every day conversation. any real paedophile obvuiously needs locking up or shooting, but the fact that some peole label innocents as peadophiles makes things much worse.

the parents in this programme had issues of there own, but sexual perversion was not one of them.

I also agree that these children probably won;t benefit from these strange methods. these parents seem to be attaching themselves to the infants for their own benefits (non sexual).

Must be good TV though, to create such discussions.
baby dust - you seem to keep spouting that everything is unnatural and wrong - well tell me, where in nature do waterproof padded pants come into it?
is it natutal to crap in your pants and sit in it until someone comes along and gives you new pants?
where in nature is suckling at a bottle natural?

the world is full to the brim of people with issues, problems, neurosis, prejudice, irrationality, depression, arrogance, anger, frustration, ego, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc - so you can hardly blame a few people for deciding to think for themselves and try to find a new way of doing things that they believe will work, or look back to the past at the way things were done before our over sanitisation of everything - because things aren't exactly perfect the way they are now, are they?

blindly following the way others do things is not always the best way, and feeling 'icky' and squeamish about bodily functions and fluids actually just shows up your mentality.

would you be happy to give breast milk from a bottle at the age of 5?
is it that you can only see breasts as sexual objects and not a the very things they exist for - to nurture the offspring?
