If you get stopped driving out of London tomorrow what are fines/penalty and do you get a criminal record?

In all honesty I doubt there will be a fine or even a stop.
If you are unlucky enough to get stopped I would imagine it will just be a reminder of the rules
It depends on the reason, but would you want to risk carrying the new variant to another area.
Providing care to someone vulnerable, essential work trips are still allowed
no unless you are unlucky.
