As was very clear when Emily Maitlis verbally evicerated Prince Andrew like a prize-winning butcher working in a pig carcass, he utterly lacks the intelligence and mental agility to deal with covering up something he has done by either evading questions, or being quick enough to lie plausibly. No wonder his legal people won't let him within a continent of...

However it started out by accusations of illegal sex and trying to smear him as a paedo. If he didn't 'bed' her in the UVI or FL, there is no case. It did start out with the premise, but I feel that the circumstances surrounding his relationship with the young lady in question - and he's going to have a hard time convincing anyone that he didn't have one - and the sleazy friends he chose to mix with, mean that his status as a royal is dead in the water, no matter what the outcome from the investigations.
He's dead in the Royal water as it stands, Virgin or no Virgin. At #8 and going backwards by the passage of time (when will DoC give birth to Covidia?), he ain't going to get even close to the Stone of Scone and will increasingly become as a historical hasbeen if he isn't there already. After all, who remembers much about the Dukes of Kent and Gloucester (the minor Ps of George V).
