.... For some reason when I search for 'laptops' for example Google comes up with their American site and the row of pictures of laptops are priced in dollars. Can someone tell me how to get back to the UK site please

I usually put u.k. at the end of a fresh search if that happens to me.

Is there anything at the bottom of the Google search results page that shows where it thinks you are? For me it shows "[My Town], UK - Based on your past activity - Use precise location - Learn more"
