From what I can see from watching tv, the following appear to be the current batch of hot young comedians. Which do you find funny? How would you compare them to top comedians from previous decades?
JOEL DOMMET
MO GILLIGAN
ROMESH RANGANATHAN
ROB BECKETT
NISH KHUMAR
JAMES ACASTER
KEVIN BRIDGES
JOE LYCETT
SARA PASCOE
KATHERINE RYAN
SUZI RUFFEL
ZOE LYONS
JOSIE LONG

Adam Hills, Josh Widdicome and Alex Brooker can be added, all from The Last Leg. I think PC has ruined comedy, so no I don't find many of them funny.

//I don't find any of them funny. Most of them make me cringe.
When I see the audiences rolling in the aisle, I think what was so funny.//

My feelings , exactly
From the original list, I quite like both Romesh Ranganathan and James Acaster. Joe Lycett I like in a presenting way, but not enamoured with his stand up.
None of them.

That said, I am fine with the fact that I am not their target audience, so I expect not to be amused.

I like Jimmy Carr, I have a dark sense of humour.
Aisling Bea's stand up is pretty funny, plus she's very easy on the eye.

I also like Jon Richardson.
Its modern irreligiosity to be funny.
The po faced PC leftists insist on it.
"...current batch of hot young comedians..." I only checked on the ages of 3 of them and none of those are young. Ryan is 37, Pascoe is 39 and Romesh is 42. Define 'young'.
You’d need a ‘dark sense of humour’ to like Jimmy Carr.

Remember his crack about gypsies being smelly? Surprised he wasn’t lynched.
ditto Tilly's answer.
Yes Mozz @23:27, I agree, I also like Aisling Bea, I couln't think of her name earlier when I posted.
all of them about as funny as toothache
i confess i don't know all of those on the list, Rob Beckett can be amusing, don;t care for Joe Lysett particularly, and as said some are unknown to me. As for comparing ones from way back, i prefer the likes of Robin Williams, Billy Connolly, Spike Milligan.
I don’t find many of them hilarious but I don’t mind them. I wouldn’t pay to see most of them. Aisling Bea isn’t as funny as she thinks she is.

I like Alan Davies, Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey, MMcIntyre, Sandi Toksvig. Slightly old school.
I could never stand the sexist and racist dinosaurs like Jim ‘I hate women’ Davidson and Bernard Manning.
i missed off Dave allen, always found him funny,
I've never seen anyone rolling in an aisle. I want to go to the same shows as Sharon...

I like them all. It all depends on the show. Some of them are very funny on panel shows but not as funny as stand ups.

I love 8 out of 10 cats does countdown. We tend to watch it on youtube so we just watch the funny bits.
the only one i found that had me rolling in aisle was Ken Dodd, his live shows were wonderful, so long though, i almost broke a rib
You weren't really rolling in the aisle though, were you?
couldn't because we were packed in tight. Full house every night, some feat...
I think all of them are ok but i think they do not have the comedic talent of old comedians like Ken Dodd, Bob Monkhouse, Tommy Cooper etc.. Todays Milton Jones is good with a slightly manic appearance.
