i wasn;t for the most part, working in male dominated industries mostly, it was only in last job that i got some parity, but not equal pay..

Yes, always. There are more female bosses than men.

in my career there were always male bosses, and the few female ones had to fight hard to stay in the game. Equal pay was unheard of.

When I had a workplace, yes. That stated, early in my career I was working in a profession that didn't attract much female interest so comparison then would be difficult.

I have worked in a job where 90% of the workforce were women, and now work in a job where 90% of the workforce are men. I have never felt disadvantaged in either.
There certainly is a different vibe though

depends perhaps when this occured, my first foray into work was an almost all male environment in the 60's and there wasn't a good deal of pay equality about then
