Have any of you used yoga or meditation to combat stress? How long have you been doing it and do you feel your quality of life has improved?

Beso can you be a little more specific.
just gone back to it after many years, less wobbly and stand straighter so hardly any pains in knees and hips now... a lot calmer considering everything that is going on right now in my life too
Not into yoga but friends have told me of its wonderful benefits.
Meditation can help also.

He has also written a lovely book - Wherever You Go, There You Are: Mindfulness Meditation in Everyday Life and has brought out tapes and CDs to help with the practice of Mindfulness. Its good for stress, depression and generally teaching us that things pass and sometimes its good to be with the ambivalence of life.
