MMORPGs and RPGs

What are the best MMORPGs or RPGs on the internet? Preferably browser based and ones that you don't need to buy any software for. I've been playing Runescape - any more along those lines or better? Thanks xx

You need to but the game for WOW, which is �25 and then pay a monthly subscription. I only know that because I bought it last weekend and it's got me hooked, I'm totally addicted to it!

smartie- if you type in free MMORPG into Google, it does bring up sites which have lists of free ones on.

You could try Adventure quest at www.battleon.com. you can play for free, but there is also a guardian thingy, that you pay for once.

You may wish to consider Guild Wars... a combination of quest based level up RPG with arena style random/guild PvP.
Good graphics, easy grouping, easy and quick levelling, and varied special moves make it quite an absorbing game.

It is a one off payment for the game, but no monthly subscription, so it is effectively free of charge.

Try www.ryzom.com and download the game for free and get free online access, I have it and I think it is really good, better than that WOW ***** people are raving about!! WOW is just hack and slash rubbish and you would be waitsing your money.
