Hi just as a good diy'er got myself a house to do up and convert it into flats. I have been told i will have to soundproof the floors between the upstairs and down. What is the best way and what materials can i use to satisfy this requirement.
As i am struggling to gain access to any helpfull sites to take me through this.

You need to look at Building Regs Part E Section 4. This gives guidance on soundproofing an existing residential building where a change of use to flats is being sought. http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/england/profe ssionals/en/4000000000263.html Then open or download the Approved Document.
