OK - Does anyone else recall a sitcom from the late 70's or early 80's about Britain IF the Germans had won the war? My husband says I musta dreampt it but I seem to recall it had one of those Brit establistment actors (Windsor Davies??) and I remember enjoying it as a kid with my folks! Am I insane - or was this a real comedy?

I thought it rang a bell with me then I realised that I was thinking of Heil Honey I'm Home.

There was a film along those lines with Rutger Hauer in.
There was a "comedy / drama " with Michael Elphick called "Private Shultz" . Which had him as a German here "undercover"....

Can't for the life of me remember the name, but I do remember a 'comedy' based on the premise that Russia had invaded Britain and had entombed all the politicians in their fallout shelters - it was dire but it did 'star' George Cole of Minder fame.
I did wonder if you were getting it mixed up with "Comrade Dad", which is the series KRUSTY describes.
