We're due to have a 3-night stay there from next week. I'd like to go but we're wondering if it would be better to postpone until next year.

It's hard to say "how things are", because everywhere is a bit odd at the moment. But I'd say Brighton is doing better than a lot of places. Most of the pubs and restaurants are open. The 10pm curfew feels strange, but you just get used to it. The Lanes are still busy and bustling. Most people are dutifully wearing their masks, unless they stop somewhere to eat or...
