Camera and Laptop connections

i just bought a samsung camcorder VP9D361 (PAL), but don't have the sockets to connect to my lap top.. can anyone tell me what cables (i presume) i can get to be able to connect it to lap top. thanks.

Can you check the model number? That's probably why you don't have any answers. Could it be the VP-D361 as found here:-

Looks as if you will need a Firewire input on your laptop.

If you don't have firewire, you can buy a Firewire PCMIA card.
