How Do Youtubers Find Pieces From A Movie Or Documentary?

Sometimes i watch video's from youtubers, and i see short pieces that they took from a movie, documentary or video. I was wondering how they find those clips? Usually, they take funny meme video's and edit them into their own video's. For example, a man that yells "no god please no". But sometimes they use footage from a sort of unknown movie or documentary.
