Me and Mr.Myfanwy doing a few bets at York today.All the races at the halfway mark,half the jockeys drop their reins.A wee bit of a joke to be truthful.Okay for them,they are still getting paid.Doesnt do much for older punters such as us who want to see a decent,fair race in progress and getting some kind of a swindle going on.Rant over.

Different visitor just left. Turned up 5 minutes before first race. Saved me from betting the first 3 losing 'dead certs'.

Done OK. Wanted Illusionist to come late in the last for a good day. Thought he'd done it. Ah well. Might do Derek O'Connor to beat the 1/10 in the last at Killarney.
