Apologies in advance as this HAS been posted before BUT does anyone out there know what the answer was to The Mint puzzle from a few nights ago:
add the numbers
NINETEEN - FIVE =
4 + 3 x 2 =
6 - 1 =
I watched some of it and taped the rest of the show - and when I watched it the following day no one had rung in with the "correct answer"...........has anyone seen this one again. It is driving me mad. Thanks in advance. I, confess to ringing or should I say trying to ring in twice - and then the penny dropped but I would still like to know the answer. :-)

This same quiz has been on the mint for weeks now, they must be coining it in, if it`s anything like most of these quizzes there will be no explanation of how the answer was arrived at.
I've seen this on The Mint for ages ( I think the last bit is 6-5 not 6-1 )
There have been so many guesses and loads are repeated again and again . I don't know if anyone's got it since I last watched a couple of nights ago .
I think it's a complete con . The makers of this programme must be laughing all the way to the bank .
I'm sure they rely on people who've come home from the pub who make loads of calls with practically a zero chance of getting through !
Then in the cold light of day when they're sober , they get their enormous phone bill and realise what an idiot they've been !!!!
There's one born every minute !
