i want to loose weight in two weeks

I am a girl of 26years and i weigh 90kg,please what can i do to loose weight in two weeks that will make me go back to 65kg and i want to remain that size(65kg) forever.

The short answer is you can't. It is unhealthy to even try.  Your best bet for losing weight and keeping it off is to figure out how many calories you need to consume in a day ( I don't know what British people call calories, I'm sorry.)  and target that amount.  Exercising increases the number of calories you can eat in a day.  To lose one pound you need to burn 3500 calories more than you eat.  I don't know what the conversion is between lbs and kilos.  I'm sorry this is not more helpful, but the bottom line is you have to burn more than you consume to lose weight and the only way to keep it off is to consistently eat only what you burn.

Are you going on holiday in two weeks?  I really believe that 25kg is a ridiculous and impossible goal to set yourself in that space of time.  I was 79kg and I am now 62kg and to lose that 17kg took me at least 4 months.  I excercised every day, never ate between meals and had very balanced low fat meals.  If you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off you need to plan it carefully and have lots of willpower.  If you are going on holiday in 2 weeks why not start now? you can probably expect to lose between 3 to 5 pounds every week for the first few weeks, then the loss will decrease, but this is because your body starts to get comfortable and reluctantly sheds pounds when you are at a healthy weight. Crash diets are dangerous.  When your body is starved it learns to store fat more efficiently so you may lose a lot of weight initially but then it will pile back on, thats why you need to take it slowly.  I wish you the very best of luck.

First off it is extremely dangerous to lose that much weight in two weeks let alone how unhealthy the ways you would attempt to accomplish that are. Often weight problems are equated to low self image, unhealthy lifestlye and an environment that makes it very difficult to resist temptation. If you want to lose weight and keep it off a diet will not help you. You will need to change the way you think, begin to exercise in a way that is comfortable and healthy for you, remove temptations from your environment (ie: chps and impulse snacks from your fridge and cupboard, if they are not avaliable to you there is no eating them), set realistic meal and snack expecations (cut out eating chips and fast food but do not force yourself to eat only things you hate), expect to fail now and then but do not let it get you down,  gain the understanding and encouragement from friends and family and set realistic goals. If you can achieve all these things losing weight and staying healthy will become easy. The hard part will be recognizing negative thought patterns and reframing them. I say start by feeling better about who you are and do not be afraid to seek help. Good luck.

Seriously, if this was possible, then we'd all be doing it! If you want to lose weight and keep it off, then the only way to do it is to LOSE IT SLOWLY. Lose it fast, and believe me, it will all come straight back on again.

You should lose weight over the same period of time that you put it on, otherwise it will never stay off. The only way I can think of to lose that much in that time is to cut off your leg!

I get very confused with all the metric and pounds so worked this out -

  • 90kg = 198.5 UK lbs = 14.17 UK stone, what you are now
  • 65kg = 143.3 UK lbs = 10.24 UK stone, what you want to be
  • 25kg = 55.11 UK lbs =  3.90 UK stone, and what you need to lose

So the only way you'd lose that amount of weight in the time you want is probably liposuction!! A very drastic way of doing it.

Aim for losing 1.5-2kilo (4lbs) a week. Some weeks you may lose more than others, but keep going on a low calorie diet and excersize, and you will get there.

Crash diets or fad diets may help shift the pounds initially, but they are more likely to return with vengance and take longer to lose the second time round!!

Simple, have your head cut off
i am 14 years of age and very depressed. Going to high-school this year people looking at youas if you were an ailen, and making comments that hurt you so much inside that you just laugh with them to make it seem as if it didn't matter to you at all. i dont want to be the way i am. many girls in high-school can agree that they wish that they could just switch playces with other people like a simple hockey game. they wish that they were as skinny as that girl in home room, or as pretty as that girl in biology. but dreaming about these things dosent make them reality, it just leaves them with dreams and unforfilled fanticys of what life would be like without the torment of another at school, or at home. it just makes you feel so much worse inside. many times we look in the hallways of schools and we think that they're definatly looking at just you and you dont want to be there at all. well your definatly not alone there. or you come home and your mother just keeps on saying "your gunna loose it all just wait and see" then puts like ten slices of pizza in front of you. and your siblings are constantly insulting you about your weight with comments like "ohh my god it's godzilla, runnn!!!" well that one never gets old in my family at least. us girls or boys that have to deal with this should be proud at least because with all that tourment and pain we can say that we are the strongest, because we are the ones who have to live the nightmears of pain inside us all.
