Teen Smow is on his first set of nights, and he went for a sleep before he started the first one the other day. It was really hot and so he opened his Velux window wide open (his room is the loft conversion). Anyway he was asleep when he felt something on his chest. Opened his eyes and there was a pigeon sitting on him - it had flown in thru the window. I heard the scream from down here! Lol. It flew straight out again but I’ve never seen him run down the stairs so quickly!

Lol very good!
Hope it didn't poop on him...eeuuwww.
Obviously a homing pigeon.
Teen Smow has my sympathy, Smow. Two nights ago something tickling its way across my cheek and chin woke me up. I flicked it away and switched on lights. That sent the creature crazy. It was a bat.
Despite our best efforts we lost sight of it and hoped it had gone out through the open window.
Late the following night Dave went into the downstairs bathroom and luckily spotted the bat sitting on the black floor a second before he'd have trodden on it.
Hungry bat rescued and released to feast on the midges in our field. Beautiful creatures but not on my chin in the dark...... :-)

omg guess lol, I’d have freaked out!
gness, if your incisor teeth start to grow in the next few days you'll know the reason . . .

You're as bad as my brother, Ael. He's asked for a photo of my teeth before confirming his trip to stay with us....x
a polaroid of them in the glass would probably be preferable

Sounds like a minor case of bird flu
Many years ago, as a young singleton, I rented a ground level flat in Brooklyn. My bed,on the floor, was in a makeshift addition that opened to the garden. One summer's night I felt something run across my legs. It was four footed with a long tail. A small one, thankfully...
That's an idea, Ael....I'll send one to you too.....or better still.....use the photo for our Christmas cards this year... ;-)
