nice one silver...

i didnt read the original post, but i do love a happy ending..

nothing silly about asking for help from your dear old dad.

:-)
didnt read original post either silver, but I once lost a ring, very special one, and trailing back to where I thought I had lost it, it turned up in Tesco, as it had fell off while I was packing my shopping, and someone handed it in....
Brill, it's a great feeling! I always pray to St Antony "the patron saint of lost things" apparently and it works! along with logical steps, if it doesn't work quick enough I pray to my mam up there to get everyone on board to give St Anthony a hand. Amongst our finds have been a Holy Communion dress accidently given to a charity shop by my sister (they rang her 10 days later to say they'd found a black bag with it in), a Camera with 1GB of holiday photos left on the Paris Metro on the last day of the hols.
Well a tumble drier is nearly a washing machine!
Have to rub the temples a bit more.Glad you found it .
Sorry I didn't read the original post either, but was reminded of when I lost a ring many years ago after I took it off to make mince pies. Of course every mince pie was duly opened but no ring. About 5 years later my Dad was putting something in the boot of the car when he noticed something shiny - yes my ring, but the weirdest thing was that the car was only about 2 years old!
The Borrowers had returned it. Happens to me all the time. (In fact I'm convinced I have an extra large community of them in my house).
Neenee - I think that names actually back from the future! ;o)
What did I tell you in your first post - Ask and ye shall receive - it works for me all the time - I ask the angels and things always get returned to me. Glad that you found it. x
