A grunt= A G.I. G.I = Grunt = slang for American Marine or Soldier.
Thanks Togo. Best I could do for the grunt was Ag although I knew that the word I was thinking of was really AGH. I knew TABLE was right though
Only just sat down and had a scan through the threads FF. Been proper busy again gardening. I submitted mine, and the prize sudoku, before 8am this morning and am now goosed.
