Can't be done!
Keep clapping for the NHS anyway. Doing a brilliant job.
Just that there *ARE* others who have no PPE and are still working.
Just a thought.

Nailit, who has been crying about not getting a clap on a certain day? I've been reading all sorts of papers these days, because of the lockdown, and I haven't seen anything about this.

I dont see no clap for the fire brigade, the police, or others who keep on working either, all just as important.
Nailit they are included https://clapforourcarers.co.uk
It started as a clap for carers but as I understand it, it has evolved to ALL those who are keeping us going.

Ok, I don't go out and clap. But I am supportive in other ways.

Thanks for that, woofgang.
My applause is for all who are keeping the Country going in any way at all.
I get a feeling that the good folk a Smirnoff are being appreciated tonight.
I appreciate every single person who's keeping the country going.

PS I think we all know that it's impossible for some to isolate.
ABers valiantly clinging to their keyboards to bring me their latest opinions, where would I be without them?
You'd be part of the uninformed services, jno.
I rarely do Mrs. Angry. It's too exhausting.
I'm not clear about what the OP is about, I guess to highlight the others apart from carers who are working hard (which is something that has been raised many times before on the clapping threads)? I don't clap any more, the original purpose has got so blurred and distorted I think it's just an excuse for neighbours to wave at each other and make a noise in the main.
It's also an opportunity to see that your neighbours are ok. Next door are shielding because she has lupus. The lady across the road's had a triple by pass in the last three weeks and the lady two doors down is a carer for her husband who is has dementia They each clap and wave from their open upstairs window and it's good to see them and give them a wave and a thumbs up.
I think people should stand outside and applaud golfers everywhere. I can tell you it's absolutely heartbreaking to see the ball take on a lovely curve, like one of the Red Arrows, then disappear into the trees, never to be seen again. So sad. I know cos it happens to me all the time. All the time, I tell you!
//I'm not clear about what the OP is about,//

Its about the OP and how hard he is working, doing a brilliant job driving a food truck without hazmat gear.
//My sister worked for the NHS for 29 years, not a single clap for her//

Err isn't the NHS part of who's being clapped for?
//It's about the OP and how hard he is working, doing a brilliant job driving a food truck without hazmat gear.//

Ahhhh, so the OP is looking for some appreciation. So "boo fookin hoo" is basically what he's doing right now then?
What a load of clap-trap. Do your job or don’t.
Guess so Mozz, and sleeping it off no doubt ;-)
