My daughter has a tropical fish tank and 3 weeks ago bought a flat fish that she was told was called an Asian river sole by the tropical fish shop. We never ever saw it eat anything and have just found it dead. Despite searching the web we can find no info on an Asian River sole, we are now wondering if they have wrongly identified it and we may have been feeding it the wrong food. Anyone ever heard of one...........

Try searching under its latin name - Brchirus Panoides

Think they prefer brackish water and a sand substrate - I wouldn't try keeping them in a community tank.
