Channel 4 V Festival coverage

What was goin on with the sound on Ch 4'a V festival coverage - happened to see Girl's Aloud but they seemed to have the technician's sound channel over the top!!
Also - what was the camera man doing - it was all tit and crotch shots of the Girls... to the point that it was stupid and offensive and you didn't even get to see their faces.
Whole thing was very sad for Channel 4.
