Of coronavirus. And my son has been working with him at this firm.

Despite what the article claims, he says that NOTHING has changed RE: cleaning/precautions etc.
A bit worrying...

Hope your son is not affected.
And you be careful.

A vodka a day keeps the corona away...
My motto anyway during these strange times :-)

Must admit Theland, it is a bit worrying.
My lad told me about this last Friday and was just waiting to see if it appeared in print.
Shall I pray for you? :-)
We have had it locally here, since it arrived, including a death at our local hospital. It does bring it home a bit more! Hopefully, you, your son and the person affected, are all ok. Tbh, our hygiene routines haven't really changed, as it is what we need to do anyway... so it may be the same there, that they are already covering it x
The link does say they are undertaking extra cleaning and disinfecting and encouraging people to work from home?

Yes please, I need half a dozen bog rolls!!!
Pixie, please don't use that word.
Undertaking indeed!

According to my son, apparently not Pix. Just something to tell a reporter.

(Its also a steel firm, hard to make steel from home!!)
Sorry, theland :-). Fair enough, nailit... if that's what he says.

It does hit home tho. This is the first case in Stoke and its at my sons works. We're attending my BIL's funeral next week and son is worried about attending as his sick Nan (my mum) will be there.
I'll try and order a magic one, keeps refills after use.
In fact I'll order you two :-)
Take care.
It says the chap's recovering at home. Best wishes to him too.
Is the funeral actually taking place, Nails? If so, is it just limited to close family members?

Sorry late reply, had a power cut and no internet (try to blame that one on the virus...)

Funeral up till now still as planned Tills (early slot at the Crem) but venue for the wake a bit iffy at the mo. Planned for the Green Star pub...that one in Smallthorne... but not sure if we can get catering.
No food apparently, at least not for catering purposes.
