I'm sick of the way that TV over-uses certain TV personalities until you want to throw a brick at the screen. There's a long list - Anneka Rice (recently and mysteriously re-emerged), Anthea Turner, Carol Vorderman (at least she has a brain) etc. I used to like Clare Sweeney until she appeared in everything possible. Who do you think is the person you are most fed up of seeing on TV?

All the usual suspects who appear in every 'UK's 50 Favourite Chip Shop' type programmes repeated on Sunday nights.

Special mention should go to journalist Rick Sky and his barmy T-shirts, which he seems to think are incredibly 'funky' and 'cool'.

He really drives me up the WALL!
What I don't understand is why anyone would want to take advice form Anthea turner about being the perfect wife? Is she planning on giving her hubbys ex-wife a few tips or something?! I think she has a cheek!!!
The one I cannot stand is that grubby faced comedian, David Baddiel. His opinion is now sought on all manner of subjects from geneology to football and novels. He has got the type of smarmy face I want to kick. I could forgive him if he made me laugh occasionally. By the way, violetblue, I'd like to assure you I'm not stalking you around this site.

I know you're not, Xanthippe! My all time figure of loathing has in fact returned, worse still because my husband loves the programme - I am of course referring to Noel Edmonds.
Natasha Kaplinsky - everything they need a generic female presenter on - they get this numbskull on. She's not even a good presenter!
Is Baddiel really on that much? I hardly see him at all these days.

I'm convinced Kaplinsky is an android.

I'd quite happlily never see Davina McCall shouting at me from my TV ever again. I used to really fancy her when she did Streetmates, running around in sweats and trainers looking all flushed. Then she appeared on loads of stuff and went all over-groomed.

Worst of all is Ian Wright. I know he's not on THAT much, but what he is on is still far too much for someone so unimaginably sh*te.

Backdrifter, I took one of your stars away as I love Ian Wright, though I hate that Saturday night sh1te programme he did.

Loathe Kaplinsky.
Loathe McCall.
I dislike him for a number of reasons, but he seriously p*ssed me off when England got dumped out of (I think) Euro 2004. They went back to the studio and Lineker, Hansen et al discussed the match while Wright sat staring out of the window, not saying a single word. However disappointed he may be, he's being (well) paid to do a job and he didn't do it and should have been sacked. Yet they persist with him, despite his being juvenile and unprofessional on a number of occasions. I detest him, he's like an annoying schoolboy and he's utterly useless as a presenter. It's an indication of how low TV can sink that he gets employed. And don't get me started on that ad he does with Lumley (whom I also can't stand!).

Anyway - ahem - that's what I reckon.

I'm glad you agree re McCall & Kaplinsky though.

Oh, i would have hated that sort of carry on, I agree with you there. By the way, my favourite sports presenter is Michael Johnson; he tells it like is is, doesn't suck up to anybody. He's a consummate professional as he was during his sports career.
Yes there are some people who are a pleasure to watch talking about their (or any) sport.

Wright's former Palace colleague Mark Bright is pretty bad on BBC London News but has improved slightly.
Ant and Dec
Ian Wright
Those Mitchell brothers from Eastenders
The guy from soldier soldier

Jimmy Carr
