hi

the driver door lock does not come right up when the doors are central unlocked and i have to get in through the back door, reach forward, press the lock down and then up again in order to open the door.

any ideas? my dad said it needs oil, but could there be something else wrong with it or can we just get the wd40 on it?

thanks

Your'e Dad is right, drown it in WD40
I had the same problem and WD40 did the trick!!!!
Is it just the lock button, or should you carefully remove the inside of the door and lube the whole mechanism.
It is likely that the whole mechanism is stiff rather than the button. Try prising the inside of the door away (just enough to be able to spray) near the door lock and liberally spray WD40 whilst lifting and pressing the door lock button.
