I know that the Royal family do not always take their children on overseas trips but I thought the idea was for these three to enjoy family life. yet I have just seen a news flash pop up that Archie will stay in Canada whilst his parents are in UK for final engagements necessitating extra protection costs

I was quite amused to read in the paper today that Camilla is the 11th most popular royal as if that was a good thing.
Off the top of my head I can’t easily think of 10 royals in the public eye. It’s not that great really, is it?

I think I would rather spend an evening with her than any of the others Cloverjo. She seems a very nice lady, loved by both Charles and his sons, does lots of charity work and is jolly good fun.

More likely it came from Mountbatten who had an enormous influence on him, probably far more than his father or mother.

He may be entitled to it but that doesnt mean they have to upgrade him to Prince Archie, Prince Edward's children are entitled to Prince and Princess as grandchildren of the Soveriegn through the male line but their parents chose not to use those titles.

True but he was still very influential in Charles' life, he allegedly tried to point Charles towards his own grandaughter.

Khandro. My slightly tongue in cheek comment was just highlighting the fact that Charles is really no different to many of his forebears.

I couldn't care less about their extra marital shenanigans. How other people live their lives is a matter for them.

My point is, that how people lead their lives is a not only a "matter for them", but can have a real societal effect as well. Is it simply a coincidence that as family life breaks down, so does society ?
