Has anyone else noticed that the Solutions are not for 12.08.06 but 05.08.06.
What has happened I wonder?

Just another c***-up by the Telegraph printers I guess!
Nope, it is the editor's fault. "The buck stops here"
Yes - sheer laziness on the part of somebody within the crossword department. I stuck up for them last week when there was no doubt in my mind that the error was the fault of the printers but cannot see this as anything but down to the crossword department. Bad bad bad.
The world hasn't come to an end!!
Yes it has; we're just an echo on an ever expanding cloud of radioactive dust!
anyone else noticed that 16d is the plural of what the correct answer (according to the clue) should be?
Yes, we noticed that. Should be cilium. Gasbaggertie
Another mistake ,according to Wikipedia, is 29 down . They say the desert is the Mojave desert and the people are known as Mohave .
Gets worse every week !
Regards
Meapham is too busy telling us how to solve Sudoku puzzles.

I agree with comments on cilia and Mojave
I do agree with the error regarding cilia/cilium but cannot agree that Mohave is wrong. Several sources show that the spelling of the desert can be spelled with a J or an H.
Wrote a letter of complaint to the crossword editor last week about the various errors, especially no shaded squares in Hercules for a 2nd time in recent weeks. Her name is, I think, Val Gilbert. No reply as yet, it will be intersting to see if she bothers. Mike Mepham now ignores my emails. Great customer relations!!!!
Regarding Moh/jave.

Once again highlights the lack of a reference tome.

The internet is wonderful, you can find almost any spelling you want, especially for names from antiquity/myth/geography.

Skyros/Skiros? This itself is the southermost of the Northern Sporades. The southernmost of the Sporades must, by definition, be the southernmost of the Southern Sporades; don't ask me what it is.

Agree too much Suduko!
akshully, bridgenut, you could more pertinently say the whole thing gets cilia by the week ...
