Why do all the ladies on BBC News and Weather look like they go to Slimming World and the gymn and there are never any over size 18 on our screens?

We have racial diversity, disability diversity, and male fatties presenting the news, (Gary O'Donahue), but the horizontally compromised fairer sex are sadly in short supply or non existent.

It's because they can't get us fatties through the studio door.
Maybe we should be reserved for outside broadcasting.

Fat doesn't always mean unfit though. My mate is quite large but she does marathons and the North run and stuff whereas slim me could barely jog to the shop (1 minute away)
Becky Mantin, ITV weather presenter, is of a slightly larger build. I think she is on maternity leave at present.
Have you noticed the tv ads for various ladies clothing sites. Invariably they offer sizes 8 to 32 but the models seem never to be more than a size 10 to 12, that's in most cases
i do notice that.

story in today's news that 3 women were refused
to go on an airline in Business Class as they were too big. if you see the pics, the airline has a point.
i think it was the fact that they came at the women with tape measures......
I rather like the way the article explains about having to book 2 seats if you are above certain body dimensions. I guess you’d then have to pay extra to ensure the 2 seats are together!
puzzled, would be hilarious to find you had booked two seats then found they were in different parts of the plane..
I think I’ve read of someone booking two seats because he or she was large, and found they were not together.

Husband is large and struggles with aeroplane seatbelts. He had to ask for an extension once and the cabin crew woman came along waving it in the air saying ‘Here’s your seatbelt extension, sir.’ Nice.
Simply be uses large models.
