Im trying to install an Epson Printer on Windows XP SP2. It wont load automatically so I accessed manually via 'my computer' but when I click on the Epson logo i get a grey pop up saying the following error message,

C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft Windows applications.

I have spoken to Epson and they told me to go to microsoft website and search error message 324767 and there is a resolution tutorial. I have done the first guide but it hasn't helped and the other guide looks to technical.

Does anyone know if there is another way around this???!!!

Thank you Kempie, I used that link and it sorted it out in a matter of seconds! I cant believe the guide the Microsoft website gives, it really is quite difficult as it is all manual. The link you gave only took a couple of clicks of the mouse and it was all done and the printer now works. Im astonished it was that easy compared to the Microsoft instructions. I sat here for a few hours this afternoon getting more and more frustrated. Thanks very much!
