I usually go to bed around 10.00pm but by the time I have finished flossing, brushing, abluting, cleansing, moisturising, medicating and making up the bed, it's nearly 11.00pm.

No wonder I am always tired. How can it take an hour to get ready for bed? What's your night time routine? Any different from mine?

Am I the only one who never has a 'wash'. Why mess about when a quick shower does a far better job?
DTC not everyone has enough toilets to go round for this routine.

Ummmm, pleased to hear that you are enjoying, Alexa's Trivial Pursuit.
Sometimes, it can be frustrating when she mishears a correct answer and proclaims it to be wrong!

It is good fun though.
Oh I see what you mean now Tilly. I had assumed that ‘making the bed up’ required it to be made up from scratch because of your living arrangements..maybe a fold down bed, or a bed settee in the living room.
A couple of things you could think about doing. Maybe make the bed up earlier in the evening (although why it’s necessary to hang the bedding on the banister all day is beyond me, each to their own though). And floss your teeth at a different time of day, it doesn’t have to be at bedtime.

Thanks, Vagus. I hadn't really thought about flossing at a different time. I'm a creature of habit, I suppose.

The bedcover just seems 'fresher' when it's been over the banister but as you say, I could do it earlier.

My dentist recommended flossing at different times, and not necessarily at teeth cleaning, as it makes it less of a faff. I’ve just done mine now actually.
just floss your teeth any time after your meal, Tilly. While you're watching TV, maybe, if you're into multitasking.

Jno, with respect, I cannot sit in the sitting room flossing my teeth. That would be gross! It has to be the bathroom and we don't have a TV in the bathroom.

I know what you mean though, 'floss your teeth some other time.' I've just done them and now I'm off out for tea and cakes. :-)
you haven't got a TV in your bathroom? Tch.
Wow...no TV in the bathroom?

Just take the Kindle or Ipad and ask Alexa :-)
