Iam from Scotland and I would absolutely never ever vote SNP I think they are very divisive they have made a mess of devolved powers they have and want more powers and their entire focus is on independence at the cost of neglecting the day job

Corby, fair enough.
38 percent of the Scottish people voted to leave the EU, let us not forget them.
THECORBYLOON, Scotland voted to remain in the UK. It therefore follows that Scotland should accept the result of any democratic vote undertaken by the whole of the UK. Scotland can't have it both ways. They're either part of the whole or they're not.
danny, no, it's isn't fair enough. See above.
Is there any truth in the rumour that Answerbank is being taken over by Dave as the model suits their game of mostly repeats?
I’m not sure about Dave. But AB has an abundance of ‘ experts’ on Scottish politics , !!!
listening to all the leaders doesn't make one an expert, but it does gives you some insight into their thinking, policies.
what makes anyone think they know about politics in England......
It really doesn't matter which nation (any nation) voted *as a whole* to remain/leave in the Brexit referendum

The vote was an 'individual' vote.......and most individuals voted to leave.

My wife is a proud Scot as are her family; and none.... I repeat, none of them want an Independent Scotland. Especially not one with Nicola Sturgeon in charge.
same as my Scottish friends, they neither like her or the fact of splitting from the rest of the UK
If Scotland gained independence would the SNP become the only party allowed to exist by the Nationalists. Would they ban Labour and Conservative movements and indeed any political movement that opposed them?
togo, very good points.
"They're either part of the whole or they're not."

That is what a second referendum would decide.
let them have it then.
TOGO, how likely do you think that would really be?

What if the Tories get a large majority and ban the SNP in Scotland?
they wouldn't do that i'm sure..
