Hi pandabear

Suggestions are read and considered - but I admit I was having some trouble understanding the mentioned Q&P one! Not due to the explanation, but my own lack of Quiz knowlege.

We have recently improved the search function - which was decidedly poor. We will be revisiting the search results item in the future as we gear up for another round of AB development, but I cannot promise at this time whether reformatting the Q&P results, in particular, will be addresed.

Thank you for your suggestion, however, and we will keep it in mind.

Thank you for this response ED.

Although it might be a 'major' development .....

Could you look at pre-formatting the way the name of a newspaper / the relevant puzzle / the date etc are entered in the Title of a Question .... thereby benefiting the Search Facility?

If not pre-formatting (having a 'drop-down' box, from which you select newspaper name, etc), then could you consider issuing some clear guidelines (as in the Notice above the existing Question box)) as to how Title should be written?

I accept that such pre-formatting would only be realistically practical for the regular British newspapers etc, but they probably account for more than 50% of the Questions generated?

ciao
