Got My Cumuppance

Serves me right for spouting off about the great weather here in palachora,
6 weeks of 82% temperatures,
We now have rain,torrential,with thunder and lightning,
It’s the first rain in 6 months said the locals,no problem.

I love a good storm. Especially when it's warm.

Rosie29,we were sitting in a cafe 20 minutes ago ,
The sea was about 200 yards from us,
What with the thunder and lightning,torrential rain
The waves were spectacular,
A surfers paradise I suppose.

I so wish I had been there - I'm a sea lover - brought up by the sea - but now I'm in the middle of the country the furthest from the sea you could get. Enjoy !
