There was a trend for a while of pub chains doing silly names: Newt and Cucumber was another. The Goat and Bicycle, The Case Is Altered, The World Turned Upside Down are three of the strangest I’ve been in/seen. And I always smile when I see a certain pub in Blakeney. I always wanted to stop at the other end of the town and ask : “Is the Cock Inn far?”

There's a Nobody Inn near Exeter at Doddiscombleigh and the biggest Scotch collection south of the border @280 odd whiskies. Very good for food too.

Near Hawkshead, The Drunken Duck and down here, just outside Tavistock, The Elephant's Nest.
The Snooty Fox in Tetbury. I think there may be others elsewhere with the same name.
There’s a Nobody’s Inn also between Portrush and Portstewart.
The Pyrotechnists Arms, Nunhead and John the Unicorn, Peckham.
The Organ Inn in Surrey,
The Dispensary in Liverpool
the Fat Cat and Canary in Norwich The latter two being good for beer the first is a bit dodgy apparently
