Prudie, when you downloaded Shazam and Very Kindly used it to figure out that music on Lewis, did it do it straight away or did it give several titles. I tried to do the same thing with my iPhone and it recognised the music straightaway and I did not physically download Shazam, I've no idea how it got onto my phone, unless it's something automatic when bought brand new!...but the phone still won't recognise my music on now found tape; has given it seven different titles so far and even says doesn't know that song! Very Many Thanks though for all you've done.

Hi woodelf. For your piece shazam named it in about 5 seconds but I have used it since on a classical piece and it gave me several different answers so not totally reliable. I did notice for classical it suggested the name of the piece plus the performer not the composer.

Many Thanks for that Prudie and I had the same thing happen when I tried a classical piece, just recognised performer(s) not composer. There must be a iganti out there with billions of tunes - so why doesn't it see my tape music, before everyone gets bored with it all! Very Many Thanks again though.
