Ignore the headlines, the body of the report state that the police knocked the door - hardly 'stormed'.

This is exactly what the hotel staff are trained to do to safeguard young people and I'm pleased to see that it is being done.

The prior incident was very different, ummm.
I agree that the past history in this case has some bearing on the reaction - equally some highly charged language used here 'stormed' 'interrogated'.

Hotel staff did right, did the Police act calmly?

I don't know, wasn't there.

My Son in Law takes the children away in turns to visit places they love and they fly luxury too.

He took my Granddaughter to China and during their trip only had one slight issue which was quietly sorted.
Yes, in this day and age, he should be praising the police and the hotel. He had nothing at all to hide, so it could easily have been sorted.
It doesn't say, but it might be a good idea to book two rooms now she's getting older. Save any similar problems happening.
I was surprised as it sounded like they were staying in one room. I'm not sure I like that idea

Nothing wrong with a father and daughter sleeping in the same room
I'm not a snob, but I do think even close family require respect, courtesy and privacy, and it really is good manners along with good practice for a 13 year old to have her own space, but who knows the outlay of the room in this case?
Absolutely nothing wrong with a daughter sharing a room with her father. I'm sure they have bathroom facilities and sufficient nightwear.
