I've taken remedies for all 3 but I think they've cancelled each other out because I don't feel any better. Do you think I should double the dosage? Or should I stop whinging and deal with it like a man? (even though I'm a woman). And should I nip to the canteen and buy that cinnamon swirl pastry that's calling my name?

awww champs, you poor thing :( I wouldn't double the dose but if you're reading this, I hope you've already been to the canteen and are now happily devouring that cinnamon swirl pastry!

(I'm so jealous!)
well i've just got the hangover and i'm going back to bed!
go get your cinnamon swirl!! (can you get me one while you're there?) food always makes you feel better! xXx
p.s don't double the dosage!!
Presumably you can't drink at work, so just suffer along until you get home, then get bladdered. That'll fix all 3.

a big fry up and lots of orange juice a cure all for everything
I would definately go for the cinnamon swirl, Champers..a nice pastry cures all, I reckon :o)
cretes right. A huge fry up is needed. With extra lard!!!! :)

I've abstained from the pastry and had a peach instead. It was very juicy, so most of it ended up down my top, on my fingers and on my keyboard.
Ewwwww I can't eat a fry up on a hangover..it turns my stomach something rotten!

I have to have sweet stuff. A lucozade & a sticky bun always works for me. Mr P has a chicken tikka sandwich & a bottle of fanta :o)

I got a cab into the office this morning and my taxi driver decided to give me his professional medical opinion on why I suffer from hayfever. It seems that it's because I don't have 'hard eyes', but I have 'soft eyes'. And when I advised him that certain trees trigger my hayfever, he told me that it's because my nose smells the trees. :o\

Okaaaaay....

Oooh... I'd love a fry up right now.

I'll have double bacon, 2 eggs, mushrooms, fried bread and extra bacon please! And a cinnamon swirl. And a chicken tikka sandwich. And crisps. Mmmm....
mars bars and a pint of milk is best cure for a hangover.
Can never do fry up, mainly cos I can never be arsed to cook it, and if i tried going out anywhere, I'd crash the car!!

hayfever's a ******. I find some of the pills work, others don't - depends on the active ingredient, but I can never remember which from year to year. Best thing I ever got was a bottle of Optrex eye drops and just kept them in the fridge. I can cope quite happily with the cold-like symptoms, it's the itchy eyes that do me in.
and you forgot the black pudding fried off course
ugly bob how did keeping the eye drops in the fridge help your symptoms
ooooooooh black pudding. lovely dipped in runny egg yolk yum yum

just nice and cold and soothing, that's all. Optrex aren't medicated, just eye wash.
Take 2 paracetamol and loads of water/lucozade!
