Chromebook Reboot- Not Working Now

Las night half asleep i opened chromebook... Asked to type in my google account password for some strange reason.... I tried but forgot it so ut asked make new password so i did then the chromebook rebooted saying you may lose some data etc.... ( why as i was still using my same email account) its been trying reboot or something all night... This morn i switch on thinking the process would be finished... But then startedvsame process again... This is going on 3hrs this morn... White screen saying please wait..... What can be done
