How do I transfer photos from my phone to my laptop. If it can be explained in simple language without techie jargon that would help as I'm computer illiterate!

Dont have a Pixel 3A; but my suggestion is:

You join them with the appropriate USB cable.
You check whether the mobile screen is asking you if it should let the PC get at it's data, and confirm, yes if it is.
You open up a file explorer on the PC.
Go into the mobile "directory" and search for where the photos are stored.
Highlight them all then bring up the right click menu to copy.
Go to somewhere on your PC where you want to copy them and right click.
Select paste.

Optionally go back to the mobile directory and delete the files from there once you are sure they pasted ok on the PC.
The longwinded but fairly uncomplicated method is to email them to yourself 3 or so at a time.

Prudie, I can't see how to send a photo in an email
Thanks everyone
John - when you are writing the email there is usually a paper clip icon somewhere on the screen that you tap and it brings up options to attach files/photos from various areas of your phone (gallery etc)

Found the paper clip and can attach photos but when I press the send icon the mail just disappears and doesn't even show on sent or in drafts!!
