Opened a new jar of mango chutney earlier, put a spoonful in a plate and noticed something that did not resemble a piece a mango. Prodded and looked more closely at it and realised it was a maggot!! Blurgghhh!!

I've contacted Tesco and they advised to take the jar and the offending item back to the store customer service counter. They said that they will investigate it with the manufacturer.

Have any of you found any foreign bodies in your food?

I’ve had the odd caterpillar in salad leaves from my dad’s garden, but I suppose you have to expect that.
