Just watched episode 1 (of five) covering the formation of the terrestrial planets.

Nice stuff.

If you hadn't clocked the series it's on BBC2 and available on IPlayer.

I posted on another thread how it becomes confusing when he brings out his jelly beans and such, as a jape, but I have a great deal of respect for Prof Brian Cox and if I see his name on many shows I've seen or new ones I always make a point watching it.
When does he do any work at Manchester University where he's a professor? He's never off television and radio, and now is doing big live tours. Afraid I can't stand his voice and simpering delivery.
He keeps it simple for us thickies, reminds me of Johnny Ball back in the day.

Yes, I agree with yoiu, Arksided, he presents the information clearly and well. As well as the exposition his commentary (script, if you will) was, in my opinion, excellent.
It was very watchable and informative.
Things can only get better!
Even Mamya followed it ;-)
"Things can only get better!"

The recording of which, of course, he played no part in!
I follow it as well, very informative. OH sleeps through it all.

We need a proper context for other obvious comments like "How Dare you" and "D:ream on".
Did anyone else feel that they'd like an on-screen symbol to distinguish real pictures from computer-generated? I'd like wildlife documentaries to have another symbol to show when the footage was faster or slower than the original.
