what dish or box would i need to get, if i wanted to pick up those channels (arabian, swedish) that the pubs have, which gets all the footie live on a saturday afternoon

You could use tvants at www.tvants.com then either watch the games on your PC or get a TV out card for your PC and hook it up to your TV! It's a lil' bit of work but worth it, the channels are ok quiality, but do jerk about a bit!...but hey, it's free!
