Do dogs have belly buttons? I'm sure I can remember my pup having one but flatmates are disputing it!!

Yes they do - all mammals have belly buttons. As the mother dog is unable to tie the cord it shrivels and drops off leaving a sort of dent.

You may be able to feel it in thin coated dogs.

On the issue of belly buttons, why is it that all pictures of Adam and Eve show them both as having belly buttons??

all so called aesthetic facts about a and e as we see them are only ever secondary evidence. there was no one else there to paint their portraits, and how would they get the serpent to sit still for so long!
