How do other iPhone users cope using their phones in bright sunshine?

I went to text my partner this morning, and couldn’t see to do it - just about managed to phone her.


is there a trick to it?

Go into setting and adjust the brightness.

If you can't find the settings ask Siri.

Thanks. It's Outdoor Mode on Samsungs, and yes, it does help a fair bit, although I would still need some sort of sunshade to see the screen properly. I'll try it on Mrs B later, who has good eyesight.

I struggle as well. My OH with perfect eyesight has no issues
