I'm completely stuck on these: Movable selling booth (5); Storage for fixing and making gadgets (7); A computer subroutine that mainly calls other subroutines (7).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

"Wrapper" is what we are looking for.

"Wrapper" is what we are looking for.
A wrapper function is a subroutine in a software library or a computer program whose main purpose is to call a second subroutine or a system call with little or no additional computation.

Thanks dannyk13 - that description of a wrapper is exactly the wording of the clue.
Thank you to bhg481 also. Thank you both for coming to my rescue.
This clue certainly sparked some great debate. Thank you to all who've responded, answerbankers are a lovely bunch.

Sorry we can't give more than one person the title of "Best Answer"!
Jana, BA should really go to bhg as he came up with wrapper.I only expanded on it.

Done! Thank you.
Thank-you jana for BA and thanks to Danny for his honesty. I must say it was an intriguing problem; I felt my 50+ years of working with computer should have supplied me with the answer but my main experience was with FORTRAN and a couple of other languages unique to our workplace, whereas "Wrapper" seems to be associated with UNIX with which I don't have a lot of experience. My dozen years of retirement away from serious computing didn't help either. I suspect that TTT would have got there quicker than me but we don't see him much in "Quizzes".
