The 'new recruit' didn't like the job and didn't go on the next trip. He's looking for a new career.

All the others did well at market. Amity's crew earned 900 each.

Except for the paired trawlers - they didn't do so well.

Hope they will make another series.
All the boats got back to Peterhead safely, some of the boats cutting their losses and returning early. All getting profits on their catch, some as much as 21,000.
Showed you where the catch then went after market from chippers to resturants in London, and prawns went to Brussels to a Michelin star resturant.
Ryan decided fishing wasnt for him !!
Great Series :-)

Thanks very much Ethel and Jen1302. I'm really glad Amity earn't a good buck in the end. If anyone deserved to do well they certainly did. I'm sure the paired trawlers will be ok, didn't they earn something like 2 mil last year. I thought Ryan wouldn't stick it, bless him.
It was a great wee series and shows how little reward they get for all the hard work and danger they have to endure. Only one complaint but, why the subtitles?

I don't know, I understood everything they said. I guess they thought that some wouldn't as they had very strong accents. I loved the half irish/scottish guy, he was great
Also, Jimmy managed to eat his own Scottish langoustines (not sure of spelling) at the Michelin restaurant and looked really lovely in his suit at the fish show.
At least Ryan had a go at something difficult, and his inability to adjust really showed that not just anyone can do it.
I think they're all brilliant and wish the Beeb would do a follow-up. I've always been fascinated by sea working and this was just excellent!

I found this programme fascinating, and I learnt a lot from watching it. I always knew fishing was no easy job - these boys could make much more money for much less effort if they wanted to - but I never realised quite how tough it is.

At least Ryan knows now that it's not the job for him, and at least no-one can ever accuse him of not trying it. I salute his honesty.
