Yankees who move down East, and tell you how great it is 'up North', and how 'stupid Southerners' are. Why the heck don't they go back? darn it! you're lucky you don't have any of those in the UK, or do you?

Husbands who retire early and suddenly think they know better than you how to run the home.

Also, people who talk with the 'Australian twang', ie every sentense ends with a high note.

for worder - yes we do get southerners coming up to the northern regions of Yorkshire/Lancashire and higher, and telling us how wonderful everything is in the south and that it's a "bit grim up north"

People who think everyone else lives and thinks just like them, and are actually genuinely shocked when someone expresses a different opinion to theirs. If they weren't so funny to watch I'd slap them in the head.

There are soooo many people I agree with here, but my own personal favourite hates are bullies, people who try to intimidate other people in any way, able-bodied people who park in spaces reserved for disabled people (YES, EVEN THOSE WHO HAVE DISABLED STICKERS BUT ARE NOT DISABLED THEMSELVES AND ARE NOT PICKING UP ANYONE DISABLED YET DECIDE TO USE THE SPACE JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE STICKER, YOU ARE POSSIBLY EVEN WORSE THAN LAZY IDLE G#@S WHO DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER), litterbugs, and did I mention able-bodied people who park in disabled spaces?

people who don't use 'critical path analysis'. for example people who don't get their money/cards out when waiting in a queue, especially in the supermarket when they've loaded up all their stuff and are just standing there doing nothing! then when they are asked for money they act all suprised and faff around for ages finding it while packing their bags at the same time! argh! anyone who lacks basic common sense too. drives me mental...
