Bottom line is I am not going to give up 18+ minutes of my life to watch someone who has no control of the quality of what is published featuring him. Careless in one area probably covers other areas as well.

I'm not sure I understand your point, Baldric. Hitchens doesn't own the footage, neither the compilation nor the clips, so there is nothing he can personally do to have it taken down. That's not a matter of "carelessness". I'm not really a fan of his but it's a completely unreasonable line of criticism to suggest that the existence of this video somehow undermines any points he makes.
