Not too sure what you mean.

However, the common theme is The Prado museum, which has its 200th anniversary this year.
The painting Las Meninas, by Velasquez, hangs in the museum, which also features works by El Greco, Durer, Bosch and Goya, the five painters featured in the crossword.

I've got all that - but what is the "location that should be highlighted?" Surely it is not just a case of highlighting 24 across????
Yes! The Prado is the location!

Hm! I am sorry but I'm not convinced - I'll just have to wait and see. Thanks for your suggestion though.
I don't really understand what the problem is. The Oldie usually does ask for something to be highlighted...... sometimes it's a hidden word or phrase, sometimes it's just one of the clues, usually the main one or one connected with the theme.

If it were to be a hidden word or phrase, they usually say that it is formed by the unchecked letters of x number of clues.

In this one, they have said that 24a is a location and should be highlighted. That's all there to it, really!

What has surprised me, though, is that they didn't say that there was a 200 year anniversary. They usually do. The whole preamble sounded like it was written by someone different from usual.

I was a runner-up once. That was a nice surprise! I didn't really mind not winning, as I already had a Chambers, which was the first prize!
